Turning Pages

Turning Pages

A Poem by MissJenaBlair
"

"I can't wait to shed some light, on every little thing you've broken, and get on with my life." -Issues

"
I'm turning pages now
I've read the last chapter
too many times
not again
not again
I'll fill clean white pages
with new marks of pen
My pen will cross from one side
to the other
tracing time
and etching memories

Pages stained with tears
some stay dry
I'll write these new pages
carefully
Because now I see
that not even tears
can wash away your name,
etched in pen

Just writing can sometimes make everything all better. It's like an all-purpose miracle cure. (Wonder if I can market that? ;D)
"Wash away you name/Etched in pen..." Good comparison. No wait, it depends. Did you use erasable ink? :D
