Disappointment

Disappointment

A Poem by MissKayP

It seems much more harmless

From afar

In a subway station with

Muted colors and sounds

A sort of purgatory

Between the actual

Events we call life

No expectations down here

The flat expressions of

Two dimensional commuters waiting

Is a safer option

Dreams are not yet disfigured

by the light of day

I want to crawl into these untainted dreams

hope and youth wrapping around me

                      I can breathe

Waah! What a touchable poem! What a marvelous piece of the art!
This's "Proverbial" poem! This's Proverbial born writer's talent!

I love this poem, there's so much depth you poured into the words. What the great deep words you penned into the poetic form. Your really a great writer and Yeah, The hell yeah, You deserve to be on this cafe's site ... even though, You deserve more, Hey, Why don't you apply for publishing your own poetic books in the market??????? What you say???????

I like a poem that can get a point across, express an emotion in just a few lines. You do that. Nicely done!
