S**t

S**t

A Poem by Liz
"

A conversation (kind of) I had today.

"
My fingers
Drum
Drum
Drum against my leg.

I gnaw on my lip,
Lick off the blood,
Rinse,
Lather,
Repeat.

My leg shakes,
My whole body shakes.

My eyes droop downwards,
Like drops of water.
My tangled hair swishes as I
Shake away the fatigue.
"You look like s**t."

I stare over at the boy.
Giggle, shrug.

"S**t suits me, I think."

Loved it. I loved the carelessness of the speaker when saying that s**t suits them. No one has to look their best 100% of the time.

I'm pretty sure I can tell you're having fun. I love dialog in writing, and you seem to have quite a knack for it. Whatever happened to you, don't stop. This is very good stuff I've been reading. Keep writing and playing with these situational dialogs. Can't wait for new ones! Thanks
