Thrown Away

Thrown Away

A Poem by Simply Meag

Is this junk,

or does it belong somewhere?

Am I giving my heart to you,

or are you a thief stealing it away from me?

Right below my nose,

lips in which you have kissed.

And like a serpents tail,

you've disappeared

after the quick bite upon my neck.

Am I trash, another mans gift?

A sorrowful servant of you graciousness.

Or what you have given me,

it is just a peace offering,

a goodbye.

I am lost among the sheets.
