Technology and gizmo's 

Tall buildings with lots of windows

More taking to the air and less on the ground

Running out of room to run around

Population in the billions

More, and More citizens

Animals extinct,

Write not with pencil, but type with ink

life spans increase

Medicine in heaps

Have you ever heard the saying

Knowledge is key?

But sometimes things are better left unsaid

A unwritten chapter

better left not read

Sometimes the future scares me, There will always be progress, but has anyone thought that our progression is going just to fast? I'm still quite young although I remember things from MY childhood that are not manufactured any more. It's kind of sad.

Well, I approve of your criticism of the technological age. At least THIS poem should not remain unread! What is meant by the phrase "knowledge is key" as you use it here? I feel that this is a well written poem but the conclusion doesn't follow logically from the premise of the beginning. I always want to give some kind of suggestion in my review, not just flattery, so I say if it were up to me and my opinion I would say that your ending is still great, but write more leading into that ending.

Yeah, I can see what you mean. To be honest, This is one of my poems I didn't quite check over, it was really a rough draft for something else. Although the sentence "Knowledge is key?" Is questioning peoples excuses for such a inflation of technology and progression. It was meant to question if our knowledge has gone to far, passing up the belief that knowledge can never be taken to far. I appreciate your advice, I'll take it into consideration for later poems. Civilization is a lie...I would rather be garbed in skins and rags..smell the ocean air near some Norse shore..even if I had to fend and fight with sword and shield.
