Afraid

This is the current issue on my mind...

 

Afraid of change,

Afraid of the inevitable.

Change will happen,

No mater how I wish it wouldn’t.

A sister so close,

Is pushing me away.

A person so dear,

Is pulling me closer.

I’m forced to choose,

That choice is easy.

He will prevail,

She will fall.

She says we won’t last,

She’s only pushing me away.

Why can’t she have faith?

Instead of looking for reasons for he and I to be no more.

A sister is supposed to support me,

Not doubt me.

I asked her opinion,

And I’ll hear her out.

But that doesn’t mean she can change my mind.
