     Tis' But a Scratch
By M.K. Brown

Tis' but a scratch on thou armor,
Taketh thy sword to battle
Thee shall not loose to thy calivers
Tis' thou knights of Northshire
Thou enemies from Jerusalem
Never to give in
Thy forces of Islam
Thou swords clash for thou holy land
Taketh thee on horseback!
I shall fight along side thou crusaders
We shall bring victory!

Author's Note

M.K. Brown
This poem was originally published on all poetry along with a different version of Mortimer (My first poem) you should also know the poem takes place in the 1300s crusades and yes, they did have guns in those days but they weren't very grand ( caliver is gun in early modern english) enjoy.
