Eternity and a day

A love poem. AGAIN!

Eternity and a Day

My darling, how long I have waited
Millions, Thousands of years I’m committed
To prowl upon what my heart has stated,
To love thee till after death bed.

Like a child needs a humming lullaby,
Heart unsettled till our lips bids goodbye.
Ferocious waves, thunders might have rage,
But bear in mind our love shall never fade

For you have stated a millions of ways
of how you love’ll me for eternity and a day.
But this I tell you, you drive me insane.
Just the glint of thy eyes my heart is reigned.

No, it is not about your pretty doe eyes
Nor, not how your soft curly brown hair flies
Although it does add like sugar and spice
to my perfect cup of tea, oh dear my.

So listen my dear to this promise I’ll whisper,
that this pure heart of mine, shall be yours forever
Truly, without fail, I won’t let you whimper
Pains, sufferings  shall never be in your favor.

Author's Note

Mocomi
it was a home work I did for my Literature subject. I quite like how it turned out and thought I might share it to the world. :)
