A girl's life

I am a small town girl
Who must carry on commands.
I am a small town girl
My life dedicated to all.
They told me
I am the eldest girl in the family
It's my duty to marry early.
I told them I want to be an artist
But my wishes are like the wind
They are meant to pass away...
Oh I am like the rain
Thousands of drops falling from the sky
Each lives meant to sacrifice.
Come and get lost in this world
Because I am a small town girl.
I must cook well
I must sing well
Be polite
And listen to the elders
Never Complain!
If you are a small town girl
You should also know
How to happily accept the mud
People would like to throw...
Wipe thay tears away
Be a good wife
Be a good mother
Give up that pleasure
It's not a treasure...
Your only treasure is that body
Take good care of it
You are small town girl
Don't you know that you have to be shy and quiet!

This is really sad, I mean why should she suffer all time? Does she is not a human? Or a puppet of someone's art? You have expressed the feeling very loud but its really very sad to read about Small Town Girl.

That's really sad friend. You get life only once who knows what happens after this life? And wasting this life for living some others dream or desire is really a life of a slave I feel. I wish freedom for such people.
