It Has Two Straps

It Has Two Straps

A Poem by Leif+Henry

This old, dusty

backpack,

a tangible"albeit

inanimate"

witness to my

miles

traveled.

As I look at it I

am reminded of someone,

and saddened.

I guess I am not

flipping burgers,

eh pops?

melencoly, I feel like in the poem, you disapointed your father by not getting the right/ a (good) job.
