Destiny's Child

I can only tell you

this is an imperfect world

so opposed to one we can imagine

dark with the subterfuge

and malign intent of that Evil One

who binds us in sin, sows the sadness in our hearts

til we can but cling

to dim faith in a just Lord.

But you must remember

you are as destiny's child

and cannot fear to lift your heads

harken to the trumpet's call

that day in the never-far-away when the Archangel Michael

adorned in armor of aquamarine for the final clarifying battle

pauses, one foot set atop Satan’s neck

before the concentrated thrust of his immaculate sword

brings about our triumph and deliverance everlasting.
