Q: Why the promise of eternal life?

A: God made us for Himself.

Q: Those who dwell in the abyss.  Were they not so made?

A: They refused God’s gift.

Q: Disbelievers in things unseen?

A: Yes.

Q: Then the self-help books have it right.  Positive thinking is its own reward.

A: Regrettably, yes.
