Bagatelle

 

Sailboats in the harbor,

Families on the strand,

Young men playing volleyball,

Girls upon the sand,

Memories of summers past,

Now that they are gone.

A fine piece of writing...tight, suggestive. Really like this.

That said, I wonder if the title takes away from the poem or adds to it. What do you think? ...bob
