BedBugs

BedBugs

A Poem by Moosy
"

Wrote this at 3:19 Am. BedBugs.

"
Good night.
Sleep tight.
Don't you dare let the bed bugs bite.
Those bed bugs worry me,
They're the thoughts that creep in when your eyes shut,
When your body begs for rest yet your mind is relentless,
Those flashes of mortality,
Those thoughts of morality,
Those memories of embarrassment,
Every single possible sentiment.
Your regret of the past,
Your fear for the future,
The bed bug is a silent killer.
Killer of the minds of the masses.
No person is exempt from the bed bugs,
No person can run from the bed bugs,
No exterminator exterminates,
No predator catches such a prey.
We all fight the bed bugs,
When we close our eyes at night.
The words echo.
Good night,
Sleep tight.
The bed bugs can't help but bite.
