On A Summer Breeze

On a summer breeze I have traveled

with open wing

soaring through the blueness of Spirit light.

I touch the earth,

at times,

and feel its tender softness and experience

underfoot,

to only then be lifted again

into that place where I can soar

and feel the lightness,

touch the freedom,

that exists there,

as the summer sun shines upon me

and as love envelopes me

in such a way

that lets me be free

to sail upon the summer breeze.
