A short poem, written in a funny way for a contest, on freedom

I/You talk of freedom

But we stand here chewing bubblegum.

It’s not that we don’t care

Perhaps we are afraid to dare.

Let’s get serious and think a bit

Don’t hem and haw; if we do, then git!

Why not think about the importance of freedom?

Creating our own little kingdom

But, wait! Shouldn’t we examine carefully?

And not be willy-nilly

For freedom is for everyone

And, it is so much more than just fun!
