Pateras oh Pateras

Pateras oh Pateras

A Poem by Morpheus
"

mythologic revelation of my being

"

Pateras oh Pateras

Oh Nyx or Hypnos whichever yee be

save my soul from the dreams and visions

my body runs deep from the morphine

you have left me to digest

being the eldest of the Oneiroi

where are my siblings of my myth

Iceless and Phantasos my bretheren

have left me slumbering in the clouds

under the spells of Hypnos

reaching out to subdue the death grip

held by Thanatos's firm grasp

I shall assume the form of the winged daemon

and readers of my weary words

into your dreams I shall enter

wipe away the sand in fear for I am near

and will stay until my father

my true father is revealed
