Black Velvet

A Poem by Diana Lynn

Submission for contest.

We locked eyes as we each had a taste

You flashed a smile while my heart raced

F**k it, come place your hands on my waist

I truly love this poem. short and says it like it is.
Everyone in life has had one of these moments and there is no other way to put it.

That last line has me grinning, Diana. When the drinks go down just right and the lights are low, some kind of faux magic grabs hold. I like this piece. Angi~

Thank you! :)
I like this. It's short, simple, and bursting with desire. Powerful words and it made me smile!
