HEAVEN PLAYS A REQUIEM
When another gentle soul passes,
Heaven plays a requiem.
When a tear is shed mourning the passing,
the wings of an angel are washed clean,
and restored to beauty.

Sorrow weeps, seeking comfort.
Sobs of mourning consume the quiet.
Heaven plays a requiem,
as a passing soul is honored through tears.

All is silent, as sorrow mourns.
A rose radiates beauty in memory,
but it's bloom shall come to pass.

Youth fades, beauty never dies.
A soul passes, the memory lives on.
Bells will toll,
as Heaven plays a requiem.
