Down

Down

A Poem by Mouse

Laying on the stars staring at the sky,
I think of all the times I used to lie.
All the times you'd say,
All the promises i'd break.

Spiraling down I don't know what I should say.
Is God drunk with power or is this just our fate?

What will come of this new order?
Will we return someday or will we fall victim to this border,
Between body and mind
that we tethered ourselves to
While we see what there is to find?
