~Ballad of Fantasies~

~Ballad of Fantasies~

A Poem by Mr.Allegory

Faeries, Faeries

My dream has meaning still

Their soft wings and mystical attributes

Who says they aren’t real?

Incubus, incubus

My fantasy of such a romance"grace

The consequence I hold and might face

Is worth the lust and lace

The song of Sirens"Singing

Sweet melody & bliss

Where I follow the sound"singing hymns

My life that I won’t miss

Satyr" its hooves and horns distinctly  seen

Following its lure to lengths I’ve never been

Taking virginity"sensual slanders"quite remote

Beaded sweat, breathless moans"such sensuality

Seraphim"Betraying your holy virtues

Six wings of power made to good use

Used in the act of love"forbidden muse

Do unto me as it is done in heaven but much better"my fuse

Reality, Reality

Don’t find your way back

This fantasy is ecstasy

Over turned and conquered

Heavy breathing

Whispered pleas

One being

Candle light

Warmth

Satisfaction

I thought the picture was of a bloody body, but it's not...awkward.

Writer's Cafe turns your dashes into quotation marks, too, doesn't it?

This was nice to read and the end made me think of a psychopath who becomes lost in his/her fantasies and lives the rest of its life lost in them. Liked it a lot.~
