Pfannkuchen

lets four eat
the dutch puff!

on this days winter
crisp sun:
  the break of day.

dripdripdrip
coffeees done.
onecup twocup
threecupfour.

la-de-da
aren't yours
like mine.

bickering, and
over easy;
ma and pa
they
forgot in haste
to bid farewell
and not
give chase.

made me think and take the clues for the underlying story, which i think the key for is the word 'bickering'. Came to the poem because I like Pfannkuchen, leaving a bit peckish for more. Nice!
