Upon the Sea

Upon the Sea

A Poem by Mr.Boffin

Me and my chair,
With my beard fair, and
Eyes glazed onto the Sea.
Whispers drift, and tell
Of a story,
Of me and the Sea.
So I'd drift, and float, my
"Gloria Scott" --
Living about the Sea.
Past ports constructing baggywrinkles, and
Misty Mr. Barnacle Bill.
But all time has cast,
Upon the Past;
Of me and my life at Sea.
So I take a look --
But my life was took
One day upon the sea.
