Marching On

Marching On

A Poem by Mr.Boffin

tumbling, bumbling
running man. past
playa lake and citadel.

a gas light aglow
his foe, steeple-chasing,
not far aback.

oft he goes into darkness
past clouds and
silhouettes

huffing, and puffing
the gaoler chasing, and
cussing --
marching on.

Wow, Randall (Can I still call you that?) I like your style. The rhythm and whimsy in this so sophisticated and artistic. You are a unique and talented pen.
