The Slumberous Thoroughfare

The Slumberous Thoroughfare

A Poem by Mr.Boffin

slumberous thoroughfare
panning by--
the

weather
boldn
dry--

the day languorous
all
forgotten--

passing the
pawpaw
denude

of
fruit--
&

bluebells
blemished
by

winters barren
lossless
brew

see the
passage--

a few
steps--
through

palisade
unlatched--
eyes

reticent in
windows--

watching
pass

The winter blues can set in with that odd melancholic beauty. I know this write well. You captures something special with your words:)
