Do you get snow in the winter?

When you walk outside does the cold air hold your breath,

Like small clouds of your soul suspended

Frozen in time yet fading fast? 

Do your boots slide on the cement

As you walk to your car to drive further away?

Is there ice on the ground

Like the ice that has formed in my heart?

Black and sightless

Do you cuddle warm beneath the sheets 

beside a heart wholely yours

like mine never was?

Do you get snow in the winter?

I miss the seasons
