Confusion

I swore I'd never go back; 

Back to that dark place I've been.

This is something i can't fight.

It's one fight i can't win.

I can see it in your eyes;

You feel the same as I do.

Why did it take me so long,

To see all I need is you?

Give in, Give up, it's over;

There is nothing left to fight.

I've tried so hard to shake it

But I can't deny this feels so right

I know what he had

Has been damaged beyond repair

But even now I still love you

And still i need you there

Oh, I've changed so much, I know.

But, my love, you've changed too.

I can't forget that feeling though.

There's too much we've been through.

So, accept our love is over?

Or battle it till the end?

Can we be what we once were?

Or will you just be my friend?

A hand to hold in the darkness;

A should to share the pain.

Know it may storm forever,

But I'm willing to dance in the rain.
