I don't mean to make you sad,
I don't mean to make you cry.
I'm sorry I'm a wildfire,
burning through our bridges and taking our flowers down.

Don't shed tears for me sweet bee,
your body's full enough of water to wash me over in a river.

The coal in my hearts' scared to get snuffed out,
keeping me reaching for bottles to fuel it's flame,
when all I need is to learn to swim in your waves.
