To Write...

It just feels so right.

To write is to breathe

A fire that burns deep

When pen and paper meet

Expression is freed

 

I crave those enticing words

Written in joyous rhymes

Bringing about life

With every line

 

Those empty canvas sheets

Tempt out the creativity

And soon the ink flows

A sweet imagination blooms

 

Pleasure washes over

With each new lyrical treasure

Each new stanza

In the endless poem

Opens up my mind

 

I'm free

Don't you see.

To write

Just feels so right.
