      … what used to be.

      … what could have been.

      … our yesterday and today.

      … my hope for tomorrow. 

 

Your Words …

      … are bittersweet; pleasant and painful.

      … the good ones; soothe my soul.

      … the bad ones; break my heart. 

      … both leave me craving for more. 

 

You Are …

      … the one who gives flight to my words.

      … the motivation the keeps me going.

      … key behind the writer within. 

      … the reason I write, my reason to write.

 

The One …

      … who makes me feel butterflies.

      … who makes me weak in the knees. 

      … who makes my heart skip a beat.

      … who has my soul and my heart. 

 

Without You …

      … my writing would be nonexistent.

      … my heart would not laugh nor cry.

      … my world would be empty.

      … my soul would not feel love.

 

I Am No One …

      … without your words.
