winter

winter

A Poem by Lily Fields

Alone, in the dark
A new heaviness above my head
Another world maybe
I remembered the warm, golden sun
and I felt small
And then the winter passed
and the garden again grew sweet

This sounds like a spirit transitioning to his new life after dying. The end is a little chilling. "and then the winter passed...as though he's/she's still there in that state and hasn't moved on yet.

Ooooooo, scaddy.
