A teen aging

A teen aging

A Poem by KEEPER
"

A poem about the transition into adulthood

"

Finally at eighteen
Oh what a life it'as been
From the immature brat I've been
To this mature and present me

No longer a teen,yes I'm eighteen, it's high time I turned a new leaf
The life of drugs and alcohol ,no more shall it be of me

Responsible and smart, yes that could be a start
I'm sure that in couple of years I'll be thoroughly brainwashed

Eat,sleep,go to work, yes that will be my life
To paint a smile on my boss's face, each day I will surely strive

If I had to turn back time I would gladly twice and thrice
For to get my teenage freedom back I would pay the highest price

Live your life, live it well, live it while you can
'cause literally as you grow older you'll have less time in your hands
