Different leisure treat

Different leisure treat

A Poem by Baldwin Mupfeki

In a tranquil reatreat,
sandwiched by innercircles;
elations catapulted by
endured lengthy lanes.
Of gloomy cancerous thorns,
Of muddy paddy darknesses,
hovered!
'n greeneries; nature parks!
Feel'ng thorny pawny-lawn
We didn't know any better:
"Indulgence of 'Tonics' and
loudmusic- prerogatives to
leisure!" we said.
Nibling straws, unburdening;
Earthlings whining to nature's
hyms, rhymes and rhythms.
Vibrant cheerful faces lightening
up the dim, chunky,
stocky-sky-
Giggles churning into waves
and ripples,
Devoid of HIFI's; deprived of
'Tonics' lest we Mrs mess
and miss this treat under
an azure clothed sky!
