Spirochetes

Spirochetes

A Poem by Kate

Her stick clutched
With an ominous grasp
Puzzling our minds
Scarred thanks to
Minute fibroblasts
Her stick tap tap
Hitting the ground
Tiled with the teeth crooked
Through genes twisted
Like spirochetes
Sweat in our palms
Digits in the mouths
Dictators pump
Venom into our blood

I liked this poem. You taught me a new word. Spirochetes. Not a good way to go. Very nice flow of thoughts and I liked the strong ending. Thank you dear Kate for sharing the amazing poetry.
