 Hold me in your arms tonight
steal away the pains.
Whisper in my ear you might
say things will be okay.
And when my tears find their way
you make them go away
 
Stay here by my side tonight
the world will fade to grey.
You listened, let me speak my mind
and theres still so much to say
but for today, lets just unwind
with kisses soft and kind.
 
Curl up with me, hold me tight
hold me in this darkness,
at least til dawn comes bright.
Then hold me warm as the sun seeps in
i know its beauty, and how it makes you grin.
 
Look me in the eyes and say,
whatever's on your mind.
In our huddle we shall lay
our hearts, our souls combined.
 
Steal a kiss, i dare you,
i'll fight you for it back.
Before you know it's afternoon
and work wont give us slack.
but by the time we've learnt the time
our bodies, so intertwined and
our kisses, a dozen a dime.
Nothing will matter anyway
nothing will matter, not today.
 
So hold me close again tonight
for love, there is no pains.
I just want to hear your voice
say "I love you" once again.
Wrap yourself around me
I promise no complaint.
I'll say what you want to hear, my dear
you are my god, my saint.

i know the words you want to say;
so small, simple, so easy
and yet... they mean the most of all you say.

To me you are the my hero
my warior with sword and shield.
 
Crawl up into bed again
I promise i wont bite
Don't worry what tomorrow brings
