Stage I

Stage I

A Poem by A. C. L.

Quietly,

discretely,

your foot found mine;

and tangled

all the hidden

un-assumed feelings that you

and I

keep locked in jars

of silence.

Of silences

that trip and tumble

and glide and

soar -

to call out but without

even a glimmer;

not even a whisper;

your foot found mine.
