Someone's Light

There is occasionally a time when you realize that for just a moment, you are someone's light. This is me writing my moment when I had the opportunity to be someone's light.

You asked me if I play guitar.

I saw them.

Your scars. 

And I smiled.

I don't know how,

So I gave you direction.

It was the best that I could do.

I'm not sure what you saw in my smile,

I wanted it to be hope.

And Understanding.
