London

London

A Poem by itai

I died in London,
buried in the strange streets,
 the belly of the beast.

 Forgotten days

I lived in this bitter cold casket,
half forgetting myself as I slumbered
away deeper into my sorrow.
A black snow flake fluttering
 in the old cold wind,
what dreamy days in a dreamy haze,
half forgetting who I was
and from where I came.

I searched for myself in books,
written words and looked deeper
for the hidden worlds.
wondering what happened
to that moet sippin poet,
when i get back I swear will show em.
goddamit I'll show em!

The countless meanings of my name
and the steam that's in my game.
Guided by the voice small and still,
you do not know me but I promise you,
 one day you will
know my name.
