Standing on a cloud 

looking down to earth

 as though remembering my birth

 I have learnt that something special

 is happening inside every time

 that it hurts,

 it's a lesson when you meet the love inside

 you in another person,

 where questions answer themselves.

 'I love you' is an envelope 

 that covers the letter, 

 it tears me to deliver you,

 but better now not later.

The life and times of a player,

 screaming at the wind all the words 

i should have whispered to you,

 i see you now in all your splendor.

 Any man can take a glimpse

 and watch a thousand stars

 but it takes focus 

 to single out just the one,

 to love a woman is to love God

 but as men sometimes we fall short

 by taking more than we need. at home.
