If I Had A Choice

If I Had A Choice

A Poem by Mya Madden
"

The title says it all

"
If I had a choice,
I'd let you sip
From these lips

As these lust-filled lies
Are inhaled like some mist

As you gradually glide
And dip with your hips

While all that's on my mind
Is a bedroom shift

If I had a choice,
I would dig into
My wrists

I would grab
My favorite carving tool
Every time I felt pissed

I'd die a thousand times
To make sure
My casket fits

If I had a choice,
I'd be filthy f*****g rich
But I'd shred every dollar
And feed it to the fish

If I had a choice
I would do all of this s**t
I wouldn't have a wish list
Bitter things would taste delicious

But that's if I had a choice...

Sometimes when those choices are stolen from us, a new choice presents itself.
Choose wisely. I liked your descriptive choice of words.
