Faith in You

Everything around me is saying to proceed with caution,

Still I walk full speed ahead with my eyes shut tight.

I give everything the benefit of the doubt,

Then I hope and pray it all turns out alright.

I live for today,

Never worrying about what tomorrow may bring.

I focus on what is in front of me,

The past and future is only in the songs people sing.

My friends are telling me to let go,

To cut my loses and move on.

I just can't leave tho,

I have to much faith in you.

I know things are hard,

I also know that they aren't going to get much better.

That's something I can live with,

What I wouldn't be able to live with, would be knowing I didn't try harder.

You bring out the best in me,

That is what I wish you could see.

I have faith in you.

Please have faith in me.
