Dross of Plastic

A Poem by Sia Khan

Pollution won't spare anyone...not even love :(

Love tales will stay immortal under the dross of plastic piles
of this universe that's brawling to breathe against polluters' stroke

Perhaps 'twill die; be smothered by the billows of black smoke

Pollution can devour everything and burp!!

I agree with you! Have you read the book FLOOD? Or THE ROAD by Cormac McCarthy? Then you have Stephen King's THE STAND...in that one it's a disease that decimates the world...man made, of course--Captain Tripp's.
There are any number of horrible possibilities.
