The Jucy Fruit Girl

The Jucy Fruit Girl

A Poem by Sherwin

Well I used to wear a yellow jacket
And be called Berry
And juicy fruit

And now I only met you only a few years ago
And you have this same name
And I can't help but think of you
And how it just simply makes me think of you
And how it makes me smile when I think of that

My friend who will always be that
Actually who knows maybe something more later
I don't know
I only know one thing now
That's one of the things that reminds me of you

Then the new Target stores came up
And I thought of you before everyone else

Cause of archery
And I keep imagining  you there at the target range
Or seeing you get your bow and arrows ready to fire at the Target signs

Simply archery
Yet something so beautiful
