Eight Secrets

I know eight little secrets

That you should know as well;

I haven’t promised not to,

So, if you listen, I will tell.

The first One is to eat good food;

Leave fast food out of diet.

Enjoy your vegetables, grains and fruit.

It’s healthy; Why not try it?

.

Don’t take into your body,

Anything not good for you,

Too much coffee, tea, no tobacco;

This is secret number Two!

.

Bicycling, swimming, or walking,

Can give you sweet surprises.

Number Three, keep fit and healthy

With moderate exercises.

.

Good fresh air is secret Four

Fresh air �" day and night.

Related to that is number Five,

Our bodies need sunlight.

.

Water is truly important too,

In the life of everyone.

We should drink eight whole glasses

Before the day is done.

.

Water inside and outside

‘Cause baths are significant too;

For if cleanliness is next to Godliness,

Number Six is surely true.

.

Set aside some time each morning

To talk to God a while.

He will help you face each problem

And tackle it with a smile.

.

That was secret number Seven.

Number Eight is plenty of rest,

And if you live by these eight secrets

You’ll be living at your best!

God has promised in his word

That being healthy is this simple.

If we are consistent in all things

He can abide inside our temple.
