Breaking Point

Breaking Point

A Poem by Mysty Rayn

I never knew I had a breaking point.

That is, until I reached it.

I felt alive knowing I could hate.

I felt real knowing I had limits.

Limits on what I could take.

It was eye opening.

Realizing that I was able.

Able to put conditions on my heart.

But I now realize that hate is ugly.

It takes far too much energy.

My heart is overflowing with love to give.

I will not waste it on ugliness.

As I continue to grow and learn,

I become free.
