Give Me Love

Give Me Love

A Poem by Nate

Open arms, anxiously awaiting
the love of my life as I'm tired of dating.
I long to soar in my heart around the world,
doing 'loop de loops' like 'Rocky Squirrel'.

No more buzzing about in search of honey,
wanna fall head first in love like a crash test dummy.
Singing love songs together, verses and chorus,
you be my 'Natasha' and I'll be your 'Boris'.

Don't wanna be alone no more, enough is enough,
wanna be 'coo-coo' for you like 'Cocoa Puffs'.
My breathing is heavy and my heart's all a-flutter,
not sure if it's 'Parkay' or if it's really butter.

I swear I don't know if I'm coming or leaving,
and that's how love should be, just like breathing.
You make me feel like a king and I've got it made,
your kisses refresh me, like 'Gatorade'.

So tell me right now, is this what true love feels like?
Like never forgetting how to skate or how to ride a bike.
Give me all of your love 'cause it sure is nutritious,
'good to the last drop' and 'magically delicious'.

LMAO "Don't wanna be alone no more, enough is enough, wanna be 'coo-coo' for you like 'Cocoa Puffs'.

Sorry if its not inteneded to be funny but jeez, that made me cry with laughter.
But I thought it was damn cool the way you used well known products and phrases, I never read anything like it. I think my faourite part other than the coco puff line is: "I swear I don't know if I'm coming or leaving, and that's how love should be, just like breathing." Good Job!
