![]() A Century that was LostA Poem by NIKI BRAHMA![]() A poem on something which was lost some years ago. A sad poem basically.![]()
A snap of second,
all it took for the ink to vanish. The calligraphy was lost and the ink remained mummified all over the leaf. As the hard ink, tries to penetrate, that barren leaf and a whole century is lost. A snap of second, all it took as the waves of the tender brush, swept aside the whole cravings. The violent wind was not early, but the red sky was too early. The leaf was not full, neither the ink. There was a rhythm of time, a noise of the whole occupied thoughts. In a time of only seconds, the red sky, blinded the lost century. © 2015 NIKI BRAHMAAuthor's Note
