UU PoemA Poem by KiwiAnother parody to Meredith Brook's song "B***h." Probably funnier to fellow Unitarian Universalists, especially those that go to congregations like mine.Wrote this again for the song parody contest my friend sent me the information to. It had started out as a song about a stereotyped Dark, Brooding, Evil Witch but turned into a song about a UU being quite a step from normal. Someone who defies predetermined roles and who doesn't fit any creed--who's interested in everything and whose beliefs are not limited or expected to remain stagnant.

I curse the world each day; I'm a witch, under cover. So take me as I am. I'm a witch, under cover. Just when you think, you have me all pinned out I'm a witch, under cover. I'm a witch, if I please. © 2008 Kiwi |
