Why Do I Hate You So Much?
Is it because you left when I needed you the most? No. Could it be because I knew from the beginning that you weren’t who you said you were? Maybe.
I hate you because every time I scroll through my social media feed, I see you. You’re usually smiling your a*s off to show how “happy” you are when in fact you know the real truth behind that gorgeous smile.
I hate you because you chose her. You pushed me to the side like I was nothing but a gust of wind. I loved you, I showed you that you were worth something but I saw that it wasn’t enough. I didn’t fill the need you had, I couldn’t quench your thirst.
“I love you.” The words I’ve been wanting to hear for years, you finally said it. I would have thought that those words would have meant so much more coming out of your mouth but it didn’t. I feel numb to you, I have no emotion.
I have nothing left to give.
