Awesomeness Of Being Friends.. A Bitter Truth!!

Awesomeness Of Being Friends.. A Bitter Truth!!

Just a random experience with the flavour of my imagination.

No natural force could describe the
closeness between these three
individuals. People said they were
brought together by Destiny. While
one was from the best school in
town, the other from the richest
school, the other was just a very
good human being. How they
became friends, noone knew. What
bound these three as one, noone
knew. What kept them laughing and
always in each other's company from
the first day at college, noone knew.

These three individuals were
different,
contrasting in their
presents, contradicting in their
pasts, but they strived to keep their
futures together. One of them was
an author, the other a debater while
the third was a musician. Talented
in their own way, these three
creative individuals brought out the
best in each other.

Then there were three.

As the days went on, the summer
Sun set, the winter wind blew.
Months changed, seasons came and
went, their friendship blossomed.
The author got caught up in her
own world of writing, publishing,
public reading events and fame. The
three grew closer than ever. The
other two were bursting with
happiness, their faces beaming with
smiles and their hearts inflated with
pride. But somewhere down the
road, as are with us, humans, these
feelings were replaced by
detachment, neglect and silence.

Then there were two.

The debater and the musician grew
close. Months went by, relationships
evolved, dynamics metamorphosed
and friendships turned around. The
bonds between them never so strong
before. They were each other's
person, forgetting that they ever had
a third friend. But the seasons
changed and the holidays came.

Priorities changed. Feelings outgrew.
The long vacant days let a sense of
neglect, oblivion and forgetfulness to
creep in between these two.

Then there was one.

Now, they hung out with groups of
their own, maybe stealing a glance
at each other's way. What
happened, noone knew. What they
felt now, noone knew. What the
future held for them, noone knew.
What people knew was that they
would never be sure of anything
else. Ever.
